Class Details: Our STOTT Pilates program is intended to increase your overall level of wellness and physical fitness by improving flexibility, increasing strength and endurance and promoting lean muscle mass through controlled and repetitive movements using the body's own resistance. Rachel Gray is a STOTT Pilates trained instructor who fosters a positive and supportive environment where all skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to challenge themselves; with upbeat music and some laughs to keep us all motivated each class. Pilates is suitable for both men and women, as well as all ages as it is a low-impact sport. It is an excellent fitness regime post-pregnancy, can be practiced as a primary fitness program, or as a supplementary addition to other sports programs such as golf or hockey to improve strength and mobility.
Class Format: You can arrive a few minutes early to set up your mat, start stretching or have a chat with a fellow Pilates-goer. The fundamentals of Pilates will be taught, as well as reiterated each class, followed by a gentle warm-up and a variety of challenging exercises that focus on different muscle groups.
Class Times: Classes will be one-hour every week from 7:45-8:45PM
Length of Season: 4-week season (Drop-In is also available for $25.00+HST)
Exclusion Dates: No Blackout Dates
